Beermonger Pete Coors has been arrested for drunk driving in Golden, Colorado. Meanwhile, in Boulder a pair of acid heads declared themselves "trolls" and attempted to purchase a lighter by charging a fee to cross a bike path bridge. The stoners say it was a "bad trip." Former US Senate candidate Coors says, "For years I've advocated the responsible use of our company's products. That's still my message and our company's message, and it's the right message. I am sorry that I didn't follow it myself." There may be some link between the two incidents, however. The acid trolls reportedly armed themselves with golf clubs.
Earlier this week in Boulder a couple trippy hippies went entrepreneur. The pair were in possession of an exceptionally large Camberwell carrot but, alas, had neither lighter nor prospects for realizing the funds to purchase one. Writers such as Huxley and Leary extol the benefits of hallucinogens for creative minds, and, indeed, the Boulder duo were visited by the acid muses. Stationing themselves on a bike path bridge the stoners declared themselves trolls and charged recreationalists a dollar to ford the swollen waters of Boulder Creek. Unfortunately, their aspirations toward self-sufficiency came to a cruel and ignominious end after they attempted to dun an off-duty police officer. See:
